This Information was given by “Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra” General Secretary “Champat Rai” through his official Twitter handle.  And he also appealed to the people and said that-

"On the Auspicious day of the new idol of the child form of Lord Shri Ram will be installed in the sanctum sanctorum of the ground floor of the new temple being built on Shri Ram's birthplace.


On this occasion, there will be an atmosphere of unprecedented joy in Ayodhya.  You too, on the day of Pran-Pratishtha (between 11:00 am to 01:00 pm), gather Ram devotees from the neighborhood in a temple located in your village, locality, colony and perform bhajan-kirtan, on television or  Show the consecration ceremony of Ayodhya to the society by putting up a curtain (L.ED. Screen), blowing conch shells, ringing bells, performing aarti, distributing prasad.


The nature of the program should be temple centered around the Gods and Goddesses located in the temple.  Bhajan-Kirtan- Aarti Puja and collectively chant this victory mantra "Shri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram" 108 times. Along with this, you can also do collective recitation of Hanuman Chalisa, Sunderkand, Ramraksha Stotra etc. 


All the Gods and Goddesses will be happy,  The atmosphere of entire India will become satvik and Rammay.The consecration ceremony will be telecasted live by Doordarshan and will also be telecast through many channels.


On the day of Pran-Pratishtha, light a lamp in front of your house after sunset to please the Gods: Decorate the lamp, Diwali should be celebrated in crores of houses across the world.


You are requested to come to Ayodhyaji along with your family at your convenient time after the consecration day to see Lord Shri Ram Lalla and the newly built temple.  Receive the blessings of Shri Ram ji."



Details of Shri Ram Mandir ( Ram Janmabhoomi Temple)

  • Ram Mandir is built in traditional Nagar style.
  • The length of the Ram Mandir (east-west) is 380 feet, width is 250 feet and height is 161 feet.
  • Three-storey Ram Mandir, height of each floor 20 feet, total 392 pillars, 44 doors.
  • Ground floor sanctum sanctorum - Deity of child form of Lord Shri Ram (Shri Ramlala), First floor sanctum sanctorum - Shri Ram Darbar.
  • A total of five pavilions are dance pavilion, color pavilion, esoteric pavilion (sabha pavilion), prayer pavilion and kirtan pavilion.
  • Statues of Gods and Goddesses in pillars and walls.
  • Entry will be from Singhdwar by climbing 32 steps (height 16.5 feet) from the east.
  • Provision of ramps and lifts for the disabled and elderly.
  • Rectangular park all around (shape) - length 732 meters, width 4.25 meters, four temples at the four corners of the park, Lord Surya, Shankar, Ganapati, Goddess Bhagwati, Hanuman in the southern side of the park and the temple of Annapurna Mata in the northern side.
  • The legendary Sitakoopa in the southern part of the temple.
  • Proposed temple in the southern direction outside the parkota - Maharishi Valmiki, Maharishi Vashishtha, Maharishi Vishwamitra, Maharishi Agastya, Nishadraj, Mata Shabari and Devi Ahilya.
  • Renovation of the Shiva temple situated on the Navratna Kuber mound in the south-western part and installation of the statue of Ram devotee Jatayu Raj.
